The 2020 Blockchain & Digital Currency National Institute is going VIRTUAL this year, with informative and exciting opportunities for anyone interested in better understanding the interplay of the law and digital currencies and blockchain technology. The speakers and panels will explore: blockchain innovations and opportunities; global regulatory efforts; and, recent law enforcement actions.

Panel I – Regulatory Developments
The blockchain and digital currency landscape in the United States is rapidly evolving. This panel of experts will discuss the current state of the law and emerging trends.

Panel II – Blockchain Innovation and Opportunity
Blockchains are expected to fundamentally transform finance, including global payments, as well as other industries like digital storage and social networks. This panel of experts will discuss how that will happen and what types of future innovations and opportunities will and may be on the horizon.

Panel III – Enforcement Actions
Law enforcement and regulatory actions have played a critical role in shaping the industry. This panel of government and defense experts will discuss recent law enforcement and regulatory enforcement actions, and offer thoughts and predictions on the future direction of enforcement actions.

Panel IV – Trading Platforms
Digital asset trading platforms have an integral function in the blockchain space. This panel of inhouse legal leaders will share their experiences and discuss the opportunities and challenges they face as more and more people and companies embrace and trade digital assets.
