Rodney Dowell

Rodney S. Dowell is the Executive Director of Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers, Inc. (“LCL”) the state’s only lawyer assistance program which serves the Commonwealth’s lawyers, judges, law students and their families. Rodney has also been the Director of LCL’s Law Office Management Assistance Program (“MassLOMAP”) since its inception in 2007. He is a frequent lecturer and author on law practice management issues and time management. Prior to starting MassLOMAP, he was a founding partner at the litigation firm of Berman & Dowell, 1998 – 2007, where he focused on employment law, tort defense, including attorney malpractice, and insurance coverage. He graduated from Cornell Law School in 1989, and obtained his undergraduate degree from his home state’s flagship university, the University of Colorado, Boulder (1985). Encryption in the Cloud: BoxCryptor

I have been looking for an easy and affordable way to encrypt my electronic documents stored in the cloud.  My preferred cloud storage options at this time are either Microsoft SkyDrive or Dropbox.  However, neither provide me with complete assurance that their existing security adequately protects documents that I want to keep completely confidential.
