Rodney S. Dowell is the Executive Director of Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers, Inc. (“LCL”) the state’s only lawyer assistance program which serves the Commonwealth’s lawyers, judges, law students and their families. Rodney has also been the Director of LCL’s Law Office Management Assistance Program (“MassLOMAP”) since its inception in 2007. He is a frequent lecturer and author on law practice management issues and time management. Prior to starting MassLOMAP, he was a founding partner at the litigation firm of Berman & Dowell, 1998 – 2007, where he focused on employment law, tort defense, including attorney malpractice, and insurance coverage. He graduated from Cornell Law School in 1989, and obtained his undergraduate degree from his home state’s flagship university, the University of Colorado, Boulder (1985).
