Ten years ago, Dennis and Tom released their co-authored book, The Lawyer’s Guide to Collaboration Tools and Technologies: Smart Ways to Work Together, about the techniques and technologies lawyers can use to collaborate with both clients and colleagues. A lot has changed in ten years and, in response, Dennis and Tom are releasing the second edition of their book. In this episode of the Kennedy-Mighell Report, hosts Dennis Kennedy and Tom Mighell discuss how technology has changed since the first edition of their book was published and what collaboration tools are most commonly used today. They also talk about what has not changed including the strategies lawyers should use in order to collaborate successfully. As always, stay tuned for the parting shots, that one tip, website, or observation that you can use the second the podcast ends.
The Digital Detectives talk about the EFF and ACLU challenge against the government’s warrantless searches of cell phones and other devices at the border.
